Significant Increase of Financial Results for the first semester of 2007

An increase by 13.51% in the Turnover and 12.64% in the Earnings before Taxes were observed in the first semester of 2007 for the MITERA General, Obstetrics-Gynaecology & Paediatrics Clinic.

Turnover: During the first semester of 2007, Turnover was more than 37.8 mil € in comparison with 33.3 mil during the corresponding period in 2006, making an increase of 13.51%.

Earnings before Taxes: During the first semester of 2007, Earnings before Taxes were more than 9.8 mil €, in comparison with 8.7 mil during the corresponding period in 2006, making an increase of 12.64%.

Medical events number increased by 3% and the number of laboratory and diagnostic tests by 6.22%.

The particularly positive financial results of the company were actually boosted by the contribution of the twice over revenue increase of MITERA Paediatrics Clinic, which is estimated to achieve even greater rates of development in the near future.

The financial results of the company keep their course of significant increase, placing the MITERA among the first companies in the private health sector in Greece in reference with the profits and return on capital.
