MITERA Participates in the 1st Fertility Festival in Greece

MITERA Hospital actively participated as a main sponsor in the 1st Fertility Festival, hosted in Zappeion Mansion on 8 and 9 June.

Leading Greek and foreign scientists, experts in fertility issues, participated in the 2-day conference. These included scientists from hospitals and assisted reproduction units across the globe, as well as representatives of medical tourism international associations and scientific organizations.

The speeches focused on the scientific developments in assisted reproduction, ways to protect and enhance fertility, the social dimension of population decline, as well as the legislative framework at a Greek and international level.

MITERA was a main sponsor at the Festival, where it presented its upgraded MITERA Institute of Life Assisted Reproduction Unit, attracting the interest of visitors. This further strengthened the view that Greece is a point of reference for couples all over the world who wish to have a family, but are facing infertility problems.

The speeches delivered by the doctors representing MITERA Hospital attracted much attention.

Specifically:

Ms Stavroula Marangou, Obstetrician/Gynecologist and Scientific Associate of the MITERA Assisted Reproduction Unit, spoke about “Fears and Concerns Regarding IVF”; Mr Georgios Ioannidis, Obstetrician/Gynecologist and Scientific Associate of the MITERA Assisted Reproduction Unit, spoke about “Maintaining Fertility with Egg Freezing”; and Mr Charis Chiniadis, Obstetrician/Gynecologist and Scientific Associate of the MITERA Assisted Reproduction Unit, made the main presentation of the IVF Unit and elaborated on the reasons why couples should choose MITERA Hospital.
