MITERA organizes training seminars in gynecological laparoscopy
MITERA, a pioneer in the field of continuing medical education, in collaboration with the company PROTON S.A., participates for the second time in the international training program “Continuum”, of Olympus manufacturing firm, organizing a series of educational seminars in gynecological laparoscopy with individual topics.
These English-language training seminars are held under the auspices of the HEAL Academy, the first training academy of the Hellenic Healthcare Group in Greece, and are addressed to young gynecologists from the European Union, who wish to familiarize themselves with modern techniques and surgical approaches, from a center with state-of-the-art equipment, a high number of surgical procedures and many years of clinical experience, such as MITERA.
The first thematic session is dedicated to Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy, and the training seminar “Day Case Laparoscopic Hysterectomy” will be held on Wednesday 13 March and Thursday 14 March 2024, in the “N. Louros” Conference Room of MITERA.
On the first day of the seminar, participants will have the opportunity to attend interesting lectures by renowned clinical gynecologists with established experience as program coordinators, while trainees will practice on sophisticated endoscopic surgery simulators. On Thursday March 14, 2024, selected surgeries will be observed at MITERA in order to get the most out of the educational experience of the program.
The Scientific Coordinator of the Seminar is Mr. Stefanos Chandakas, Ass. Professor of Gynaecology, University of Nicosia, Chairman of the Board of MITERA and Secretary General of Heal Academy.
