MITERA: Offer by the IVF Unit
MITERA Hospital is offering a 20% discount for one cycle of IVF treatment at its Assisted Reproduction Unit, as well as a free-of-charge consultation with a dietitian and a psychologist, to all the couples who will attend the conference entitled “New Horizons in Assisted Reproduction” on Sunday March 18th, 2012, from 10:00 to 13:00. The two-day meeting will be held at the N. Louros Conference Center, located within the MITERA Hospital, and has been organized by the IVF Unit.
On Sunday, the meeting aims at giving an open forum to the couples who wish to be briefed on the new technologies in and the factors affecting the effectiveness of IVF.
Couples who wish to attend should call the MITERA IVF Unit between 08:00 and 18:00 from Wednesday March 14th to Friday March 16th and between 08:00 and 15:00 on Saturday March 17th, on 210-6869827 and 210-6869830. The offer is only valid until December 31st, 2012.
On Saturday March 17th, the first day of the two-day conference, the discussion will focus on all the latest developments in Assisted Reproduction and specifically the following scientific topics:
- Time-lapse photography of embryo development
- Exploring the secrets of implantation – 3D images
- Microfluidics – Laboratory-on-a-chip
- New developments for ovarian stimulation
- Fertility preservation
- Future developments in Assisted Reproduction
These topics will be analyzed by acclaimed physicians from Greece and abroad, including Georg Griesinger, Professor of Gynecological Endocrinology and Reproductive Medicine at University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein, Germany; Gary Smith, Professor of Molecular & Integrative Physiology, Departments of OB/GYN, and Co-Director of the Reproductive Sciences Program, University of Michigan, USA; and Yiorgos Nikas, Gynecologist and Researcher in Reproductive Physiology.
