MITERA: Imaging Departments certified to ISO

MITERA Hospital’s Radiology, Mammography and Bone Densitometry Departments have received the ISO 9001:2008 quality management certification by TUV Austria Hellas.

The certificate was issued following the successful detailed inspection of the operating procedures followed in these Departments. The certified quality management system implemented at MITERAHospital’s Radiology, Mammography and Bone Densitometry Departments ensures:

• medical exams by suitably trained personnel, as well as valid and timely results,
• continuous development of technical know-how and human resources,
• readiness to adopt new methods and techniques through constant upgrade of technical infrastructure, and continuous adjustment of diagnostic protocols to new scientific knowledge,
• a civilized, pleasant and friendly environment, which focuses on meeting the needs and expectations of patients and their referring physicians.
