Collaboration between the Children’s Ocular Oncology Center & MITERA Hospital and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA)

It is with great pleasure that we announce the start of a collaboration between the Children’s and Adult’s Ocular Oncology Center of MITERA hospital and the Ocular Oncology Clinic and the Retinoblastoma Center of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in the United States, one of the largest and most renowned children’s hospitals in the world.

The Children’s and Adult’s Ocular Oncology Center of MITERA hospital is the only center in Greece, specialized in ocular oncology diseases, with state-of-the-art medical equipment and qualified staff, offering personalized treatments to patients, adults and children with ocular tumors, based on the patient’s individual needs and in accordance with the guidelines of the International Society of Ocular Oncology (ISOO).

It is also the only center in Greece that offers comprehensive services for the diagnosis and treatment of children with retinoblastoma and patients with ocular tumors, taking on the most challenging clinical cases in order to provide targeted treatment for each case.

This new partnership will further strengthen the center and provide innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies to its patients.
