Clinical Interests

• Latest technological progress of radiotherapy, such as SBR, IMRT, IGRT, γ-knife, cyberknife.

• Evolution of radiotherapeutic methods and their combinations (external beam radiotherapy, brachytherapy, stereotaxy). Emphasis on the combination of radiotherapy and chemotherapy and/or targeted treatments, with the intention to preserve the affected organ and to eliminate the harmful effects of radiation in healthy tissues.

• Intraoperative radiotherapy

• Stereotactic radiotherapy

• Intracavitary , interstitial high-dose rate brachytherapy

• Brachytherapy of the prostate gland with LDR seed implantation of radionuclides
